Sally Garozzo
Hi there, I'm Sally Garozzo. In the year 2000 I
won the prestigious PERFORMER OF THE YEAR award,
after studying at London's Vocaltech Vocal
School. After working as a session singer
with the likes of Jackie Rawe from Chakatack, I decided to set up The Vocal Academy to help you achieve your singing
goals. Whether you want to sing for personal enjoyment or make a living out of it, I can help. The possibilities are endless providing you commit to dedicated singing
practice and keep an open mind. As a singer, I've had my own technical
challenges but, after deciding to commit to daily practice, I now have the
singing
voice I want.
So my advice, as always, is to be patient with yourself, keep
practicing, snap up opportunities as they come along and
maintain a positive attitude.
I attend numerous workshops and courses to keep my
knowledge up to date. I've recently attended
workshops from The Vocal Process company
including: The Developing Voice, Singing and The
Actor, The Belting Experience and Advanced Singing and
The Actor. I'm also now a pre-certified Speech
Level Singing practitioner, a method that is used by
celebrities.
I am a professional singer/songwriter. I've sung in function bands around the country and I work as a session singer too for various projects. I've been writing my own songs for over 10 years and have an album
